Dhoby Ghaut Green is park conceived as a “City Room” for community gathering within the city as a focal point for art & culture, concerts & performances and community activities or just a resting place for users to appreciate the surrounding park and urban environment.
The challenge for us is the environmentally friendly nature of the signage, which must also be designed to withstand continuous exposure to rain and shine. To blend with the peaceful green environment, we integrated the natural colour of stainless steel to all the signage around the premises and applied a special coating to protect them from exposure to the weather. The ink used for the text is also environmentally friendly. As a good corporate citizen, UDS is cognizant of our duty to protect the environment too.
